Migraine a neurological disorder affects 1 billion worldwide, characterized by a severe throbbing recurring pain, nausea, sensitivity to sound and light. Migraine increases the risk for cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), including myocardial infarction, stroke, atrial fibrillation, and venous thromboembolism. This study reported that the incidence of migraine associated stroke was increased two-fold in migraine patients compared to the general population cohort. Introduction Migraine incidence are more in women than in men. The incidence of migraine associated stroke and heart disease is stronger among women and aura patients.
