Case presentation: A 38-year-old man was presented complaining of mild pain on the base of the right thumb. The pain was persistent for last 4 months before the presentation. He had no history of trauma or any systemic disease. He had not taken any corticosteroids. The pain was affecting his everyday activities as he was a bank worker. Inflammation was absent, and mobility of wrist and fingers were completely normal. Examination: Physical examination revealed tenderness over the trapezium, but there was no swelling. His X-ray was normal.
