Recurrent miscarriages affect 1%–1.5% of the pregnant population. To prevent the miscarriage, progesterone therapy is generally recommended and supported by few studies. However, there are some scientific reports that mention no any benefit of such therapy even with recurrent miscarriage but it may benefit if used in pregnancies that have resulted from certain assisted reproductive technologies.
