Case A 40-year-old woman complained that it takes her several hours and attempts to select a shoe for her. The reason being the changed appearance of her third toe. Lately, the tip of her third toe is in pain after wearing shoes because it was rubbing against her shoes. Examination The woman had flexion deformity to the third toe at the level of the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint. There is a callosity on the dorsum of the DIP joint.
