Modified Radical Mastectomy in 35 yrs old female having Rt Ca.Breast. Lump was 4 cm in outerquadrant with normal Nipple/Aerola. No Axilarry LN palpable. Skin margin taken is 4 cm. Patient was explained about conservative surgery but was not willing & also could not afford as RT is expensive. Regarding Sentinel LN biopsy , it's not practical in all patients.
As far as I know, no Oncosurgeon in even metros goes by set norms. Final post-op HP report is awaited so accordingly adjuvant therapy would be considered. Thanks for suggestions & comments. HP Report: HP Report following MRM: # Medullary Carcinoma of Breast #20 LN negative # T1 N0 M0 # margins free # skin, Nipple free # Her2 & Er Pr negative # no tumour emboli It's rare tumour & not sensitive to Chemo / Radio As MRM is already done , does it require further treatment ?
