I graduated from Hyderabad and after graduating I registered with Hyderabad Medical Council. I got a Central Govt. job in Chennai and joined service. I continued my central govt. job with my Hyderabad medical council registration. I did my post graduate studies from Chennai in orthopedic surgery and registered there.
Thus I have two medical registrations. Now I am residing in Mumbai after retirement travel to Kolkata very frequently to my ancestral house. I have to register again in Maharashtra and West Bengal. Why can't we have one national registration number and practice in any state after paying a fees to the State Medical Council?
