A 13-day-old baby was brought to the hospital with left eye purulent discharge and swelling of the left upper eyelid from 2 days. History Born by FTNVD without any post-natal complication No history of a decreased level of activity or feeding, no rashes or seizures Maternal history Gestational diabetes Vaginal discharge treated for vaginal candidiasis during the last trimester At the 37 th week of gestation, group B Streptococcus screening was negative. HIV and Hepatitis B serology of mother was negative. Examination Eye discharge had yellowish, sticky and copious secretions.
