FDA approved a drug to prevent oxidative stress in patients with ALS. Basically, an antioxidant already used in Japan from 2015, the molecule Edaravone, reduces lipid peroxide radicals and peroxynitrites which cause damage to neurones. The drug is administered for 14 days/month with a drug-free interval of 14 days.

Duration of treatment is not mentioned. Do you think it will bring solace to the sufferer as a placebo at least? Share your thoughts.
