Pharmacological therapies have always been the first line management of both acute and chronic pain. Since inflammation is the root cause of pain, anti-inflammatory molecules are necessary parts of a therapeutic regimen.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), specific or non-specific cyclooxygenase inhibitors, such as fenamates and oxicam derivatives are routinely prescribed in pain management. This survey intends to assess the perceptions of the physicians regarding the safety and efficacy of NSAIDs.
