Mechanisms such as endocrine regulation by adipose tissues, inflammation, oxidative stress, and the endocannabinoid system are known to affect bone health in obese patients. However, the precise mechanism remains unclear. Obese individuals are at an increased risk of fractures and other related disorders such as diabetes. It is the need of the hour to spread awareness about obesity and bone health.
