Among the several complications reported following the COVID-19 vaccination, ocular complications are of the highest frequency. They can include eye swelling, ocular hyperemia, conjunctivitis, blurred vision, and visual impairment. Case presentation A 30-year-old woman presented to an eye hospital with reduced visual acuity in her left eye for three weeks prior to her referral. About two weeks before her symptoms started, she had received the inactivated COVID-19 vaccine, which was accompanied by soreness at the injection site for a day but no systemic manifestations.
Medications were taken to subside the symptoms. Medical history The patient had hypothyroidism and used to take levothyroxine regularly.
