The Regional Verification Commission appointed by the WHO recently announced complete eradication of measles and rubella from Oman and Bahrain. Furthermore, the commission stated that Iran has eliminated rubella and is close to the eradication of measles as well. The commission meeting was held in Jordan on 15-16th of May 2019 to review the status of elimination of measles and rubella in Oman, Bahrain, and Iran.
