Dear all, What is your opinion regarding getting consultation fee from Doctors or from their relatives when they come as a patient?When Doctors refer or bring their relatives for consultation,should we charge them or not? What is the guideline you follow? If you feel it is unethical to charge,what will the Specialist Doctor with a rare speciality in metropolitan cities do where every body wants to consult only with him?
He will have no time to see other patients except Doctors and their relatives. Please air your views. Is it ethical ?
