Kindly advice regarding an appropriate anti hypertnsive for an elderly female who is non diabetic with normal weight.she was started on cardace 5 mg but developed dry cough because of which she was shifted to telmisartan 40 mg ,subsequently pt also developed pedal edema and athiazide diuretic was added . recently pt has started developing orthostatic hypotension an ecg done revealed few ectopics pt is presently on telma- am once daily blood pressure now is 160/70.
