Dear collegues,its my mother who is 73yrs of age,non diabetic and non hypertensive,taking aurvedic meds for her osteoarthritis past 1-2yrs. Past 3-4 months developed gastritis,dyspepsia,loss of appetite..I advised her not to continue aurvedic meds,after which she was asymptomatic and also Iasked her to do the gastroscopy and LFT,stool exam, BSL(f) &(PP).
Meantime she restarted the aurvedic med.and recurred the above symptoms.She did her Investigations 2 days back, gasroscopy report says,"esophagial candidiasis" BSL(F)-73mg/dl & (PP)-110mg/dl LFT,Bil(T)-2.50mg%,Direct1.45mg, Indirect1.05mg SGPT-50.3 U/L (ref.0-40) SGOT131.5 U/L(ref.0-40) Alk.Phosphatase-424.1 U/L(ref.64-306) Stool exam- 12-15 pus cells please advise.Thanks
