Hypotension is abnormal vital sign and Shock is a pathological condition characterized by hypoperfusion. Shock is a combination of +/- Hypotension and + significant hypoperfusion. Symptoms of Hypotension with respective organ hypoperfusion are as follows: Brain Hypoperfusion – Confusion and irritability, Cardiac Hypo perfusion – Angina and Syncope, Renal Hypo perfusion – Urine Output < 30 ml/hr, Peripheral Hypo perfusion –Cold extremities, etc.
