A patient got myomectomy done 2 weeks back. She is on minoclycline BD for 14 days and then OD for 14 days+Dienogest OD for 3 months. Neurobion forte was given with regular antobiotics after operation. Now 3 days back she got a localised lymph node swelling in the left sternocledomastoid muscle. I gave her tab amoxicillin/clavulanate 650 mg TDS. Due to slow response I started ceftriaxone 2 gm and Gentamicin 80mg+ neurobione forte iv yesterday evening. One hr after that pt had pain in ulnar nerve region and sciatic nerve region. More profound in the popliteal fossa and radiating to calf muscle.
The pain is quite severe and still present. The neck swelling has decresed. 17/11/15 The neck swelling has dereased considerably. Neuritic pains have gone. The pt responded to ceftriaxone and gentamycin. Thank you everbody for answering. I have given her diclo,tramadol,paracetamol for pain.…
