Palliative care management is emerging as a fundamental part of health sector involved in treatment and care of patients suffering from life-threatening diseases. Every year 6 million people in India need palliative care. 60% of patients die with prolonged illness in suffering embarking need for more palliative care units. Current article deals with the management of palliative cancer care in India.
