Despite the advances in surgical techniques and postoperative intensive care, morbidity from pancreatic surgery remains high, resulting in prolonged hospitalization and high medical expenses. Clinicians must be able to differentiate between the normal postoperative findings and the complications to reduce morbidity resulting from pancreatic surgeries.
