In this time of a resurgent India, we are at the crossroads of a healthcare revolution. From the old-fashioned ways of practising as "Good Doctors", we are moving towards being "Wise Doctors". However, we are still forsaking the benefits of a systems-oriented approach in our individual practice and trying to milk our patients to get the maximum fiduciary benefits out of them. We need to change. We need to be aware of the captioned issues of this brief discussion. What, in your opinion, is the impact of changing our thinking to a systems approach might be?
Would it be a new revolution in healthcare, or would it, in your opinion, be a limping effort, a sort of soggy firework that fails to produce the bang and the light it promised when it was taken out of its box?
