If you believe that violence against doctors has been declined, think again! In a latest incident, a 75-year-old patient undergoing treatment for asthma at Pune city hospital attacked his doctor in a fit of rage, allegedly because of expensive treatment. The assailant attacked the doctor with a knife when the doctor had come for a routine round in the ward. During the attack, the doctor injured his hand and stomach. The incident made bigger news because the doctor withdrew his complaint because he did not want judicial formalities.
