Pediatric laparoscopy is widely popular as a minimally invasive surgery in today's era. The anesthetic management, itself is a challenge in pediatric surgery that poses special problems due to pneumoperitoneum created and extremes of position adopted. In addition there are other challenges associated with pediatric surgery. Here we describe challenges associated with pediatric laparoscopic surgery.
