In the medical field, programmes like WhatsApp have proved to be useful for doctors and patients. With the help of WhatsApp, physician’s can easily access an image of X-ray or an electrocardiogram(ECG) shared on the app. But on the same time the patients become impatient and constantly send messages to doctors to get their opinion. This creates disturbance for the doctors during their busy clinical schedule and they prefer that patients should turn up to the clinics itself for consultations.
In addition, texting is not a secure mode and it could compromise sensitive health information. What is your opinion on this aspect? Source: India Times
