Today, I got a letter from a doctor working in primary health card centre asking about my licence. Actually, in Karnataka, there is something called Karnataka private medical establishment act (KPME). So, if u want to open clinic you need to register under that act. Then they will provide a licence to practice. I have applied for it 1 year back. But still, I didn't get that licence. I just have acknowledgement with me.
I think only district health officer or taluk health officer have such permission to ask for my licence so, I argued with that doctor that, there is no need to show him my licence. Moreover, he takes 20 rupees from each patient. He sees despite he is working in the government hospital. So, I told him that I will complain regarding this.
