Dear friends.. Here i am having a patient with chronic cough... blood picture is normal except eosinophil raised to 9%. there is no abnormal finding in x-ray chest. when i examined the throat it was pharyngitis and patient told this condition is from last one year. patient has completed 6 days on combination of levoflox and azithromycin 500gm each.
i also suggested betadine gargle. apart from antibiotics he is on deflacort 6mg bd and on ebastin od. on auscultation some rhonchi is heard in right upper lobe. but the reason of concernt is untreated pharyngitis... kindly suggest any modification in treatment.
