Phleboarthrosis is a medical manifestation of chronic venous insufficiency, which commonly affects the lower extremities due to venous reflux. The signs of phleboarthrosis are swelling of the knees, knee pain, reticular veins, edema, pigmentation of the skin, and difficulty in walking. The diagnosis of phleboarthrosis includes X-ray imaging of the knee and feet, Doppler ultrasound evaluation of lower limbs, and determination of vitamin D3 and B12 levels. However, it is often misdiagnosed due to a lack of awareness among other medical disciplines.
