Phleboarthrosis or chronic venous disease/insufficiency (CVD/CVI) is an underrated and underdiagnosed medical condition that is associated with osteoarthritis. Patients with phleboarthroses are often misdiagnosed with knee, foot, and ankle arthroses. Therefore, prospective clinical evaluation to observe the association between osteoarthritis of the knee joint and chronic venous disease/insufficiency is crucial for avoiding the associated complications.
