Phyllodes tumors are rare fibroepithelial neoplasms that can be benign, borderline, or malignant in nature. They are characterized by the biphasic proliferation of epithelial and stromal components in the breast. Ambiguity in diagnosing phyllodes tumors and difficulty in differentiating them from fibroadenoma make their management more challenging. Surgical procedures such as lumpectomy, partial mastectomy, or total mastectomy are used to treat phyllodes tumors depending on the size of the tumor and the patient’s preference.
