though i am not a surgeon, but many of my regular patients specifically females complaint about insensitivity of surgical team towards physical privacy which they correlate with their dignity. some of them have even wept before my wife during consultation. this issue has bothered me lot since recent past.
many female patients allege that surgeons act insensitively with patients and even in a surgery involving abdomen their sexual organs are exposed to male doctors, technicians and even wardboys which disturbs the female patient psycholgically and mentally and creates negative and discouraging environment in the OT. many of them have complained that they feel helpless and are left embarrassed and they usually never forget such incidents throughout their life.
