A patient’s friend was arrested for allegedly threatening and abusing three junior doctors, including a female PG trainee doctor at a Kolkata hospital, where the tragic rape and murder of a PG trainee doctor had occurred. The patient, who had been injured in a road accident, was brought to the hospital by his friend at around 1:50 AM. Both individuals were reportedly intoxicated and began misbehaving with the attending doctors. Upon hearing the argument, senior doctors and male postgraduate trainee doctors arrived at the scene and alerted the police officers stationed at the hospital.
