A 54-year-old gentleman attended my hospital (lochan) in Jammu with h/o high-grade fever and an angry-looking in the right inguinal region He had undergone laparoscopic groin hernia surgery (t.e.p). The pus was drained & the wound was explored under G.A. About 300 ml of thick pus was drained & the infected mesh & tackers were removed.

The wound was left open, daily dressing & wound toileting done, as per normal wound management protocol. A secondary suturing was done after the wound looked clean enough, to suture. This is a rare complication of post t.e.p meshplasty
