Central nervous system (CNS) cancers are rare and deadly cancers, with little data available about their incidence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. According to the data from the National Cancer Registry of Lebanon shows that Lebanon ranks third and fourth in the incidence rate of CNS cancers in the MENA region for males and females, respectively. A group of researchers from Lebanon and France has analyzed CNS cancer data collected between 2005 and 2015 and observed that CNS cancers are high in males in Egypt and Iran while CNS cancers in females are high in Egypt, Iran, and Malta , among the MENA countries.
