Promising Nanobodies Against SARS-CoV-2 and its Variants

The COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing, despite advancements in vaccine development. The emergence of multiple variants of concern (VOCs) having mutations that challenge the existing treatment modalities and immunization strategies indicates that future outbreaks are possible . The development of a multi-pronged containment strategy that keeps SARS-CoV-2 and its variants at check is the need of the hour. Several treatment strategies have employed convalescent sera and human monoclonal antibodies for COVID-19 management.
