Recently the famous Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan revealed that his father Mr. Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage throat cancer. Hrithik made this revelation through his Instagram post where he posted a photograph with his father in the gym. He also mentioned that Mr. Rakesh Roshan was detected with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. Both his larynx and Pharynx, are affected by this cancer.
Mr. Rakesh Roshan is in full spirit to undergo the surgery and battle with his disease. Hrithik mentioned in his post that, his father is the strongest man he knows. Nowadays, we come across many celebrities being diagnosed with cancer. Few celebrities who have made such revelations include, Sonali Bendre, Rishi Kapoor, Irfan Khan, Tahira Kashyap etc. Source: India Today
