I am practicing in Karnataka and am registered with KMC ( Karnataka Medical Council). Want to know is it mandatory to get oneself re-registered every 5 yrs or so?How many CME credit points are required to be eligible for such recertification/reregistration?

What happens to the existing registration if one doesnt get recertified?
