A male of 35 years, teacher by profession presented with recurrent abdominal pain for last 3 months. At present no vomiting & bowel movements are regular. Appetite is normal. For pain sometimes he has to take analgesic injection. No H/O : Anorexia / weight loss Per abdominal examination revealed nothing abnormal. USG Abd is absolutely normal. In blood investigations S.Lipase was 71, otherwise normal. Past H/O: Before 3 months Patient had acute upper abdominal pain With Vomiting, was treated by another Surgeon.
At that time TC was 23000 & rest was normal. USG & CT/MRI abdomen was also normal. OGD scopy was normal . He was hospitalized for few days. H/O Alcohol which he left a year back. Still he is having recurring and pain. Some body advised Diagnostic Laparoscopy. It's open for discussion , opinion & suggestion for further investigations & management.
