We have come a long way in the field of neurosurgical technology and patient care especially in the last three decades. In the words of Sir Charles Darwin, “It’s not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change”. Something similar is expected from a neurosurgeon, to be cutting edge, resilient to change, adaptive, humble, and duly confident.
