Well, Joseph Lister was a renowned British surgeon-scientist, who introduced to the world the use and appreciation of the antiseptic method for the prevention of wound sepsis. Joseph Lister also called as father of ‘modern surgery’ was a remarkable surgeon who pioneered principles of antisepsis.
