This is a very important post and I would like to highlight is there any difference between quality of consultations done by government or private consultants. As a matter of fact, a patient seen by any consultant in private or government entity will not have any variation as far as diagnosis or management is concerned. However, it is possible that in government hospital a consultant may have large number of patients to be seen in a short time.
This might affect the clinical evaluation of a patient and many patients may not be satisfied and this group of unsatisfied patients are forced to seek private consultation where the consultant might see him in much better way.
