I have got a patient para gravida 2. Now b6 weeks pregnant. Husband had chicken pox 15 days back, now in a stage of scab formation. Patient was nursing the husband all these days. Mother says she had chicken pox in childhood.

It seems for testing, antibodykit not available. I want to know what we have to give to the mother for protecting the baby from the effects of chickenpox virus. Any immunoglobulin will help. Any antiviral drugs can be given. Kindly suggest.
