I just wanted to know that can a doctor having degree of M.B.B.S. or higher one, purchase stock and dispense medicines to his patients??? Can he issue bills for this ?? Does a doctor need a pharmacist/ licence from drug controller to purchase/ stock/ DISPENSE medicine from his unit when it is under his supervision.?
According to guidelines of mci a doctor can dispense drugs on his own without any additional license, but is there any contradiction about this in food and drugs act?? Adding to this i also want to know is there any guidelines regarding storage of PHYSICIANS SAMPLES? ofcourse one cant sell them but is thrre any guideline that one cant store beylnd certain limit or so??
