Before the introduction of NEET for MBBS admission in private medical colleges seats were openly sold in 50 lac to 1 crore before conducting any so-called entrance exam by one Pvt medical college or their consortium but after NEET, few Pvt Medical Colleges are admitting students securing less marks in NEET against a bribe of 15-30 lakhs in total before completion of counselling by DGHS and other agency of state or central Government. They have huge 100-150 seats in a new medical college and many of these will be vacant in a mop-up round where they will manipulate seats by bribing higher authority replacing deserving students to these no achievers against bribe.
