During my visit to a bank, I have come across a notice board with written message " Anybody found misbehaving with bank employee will be imprisioned for 3 years or fined or both under clause 332 and 352 IPC." On other hand while, a doctor is not safe in his working place with rising incidence of violence against doctors by patients inspite of rising in number of advertisements for creation of awareness among public. What is existing punishment for beating of doctors and health workers and causing damage to hospital building or furniture etc.
What is your opinion about maintaining safety of health staff ? Is it sufficient or need to be more stringent?
