With the advent of Alternative Systems of Medicine, running parallel to the Allopathic system, which is patronized by the Government with a separate Directorate for AYUSH and even offering them government jobs with equal status in the health sevices.and the world body, the WHO also approved it due to its growing popularity and influence among the public it has become a matter of confusion both for the patients as well as doctors to identify which doctor belongs to which system, as the medical professional of all systems till now are using the same title as "Dr" before their names.
