In Madhya Pradesh, two bills have been passed which allow Ayurvedic and Unani doctors to prescribe modern medicines. In general non-allopathic doctors are practicing in Modern System which is illegal but in race to make it legal. Out of it two major issues have been raised which need to be addressed. Allopathic medicines are safe with their rational use only. Various adverse reactions are associated with their rational use also to address this issue National Pharmacovigilance Program Of India has been launched. How safe it will be when these medicines allowed to use by AYUSH doctors with inadequate knowledge.
