A 1 yr old girl from poor family is sick for last 9 months due to recurrent pneumonias which r difficult to treat. She is not gaining wt for last 6 months and now 6 kg. At birth her wt was 2.6 kg and is survived by 10 yr and 6 yr healthy sisters. Only on breast milk till now as strongly solids are arefused by the infanct. No chronic ailment in family. No abortion or still birth or unexplained death in family. Now coughing x 1 month and is severly pale. No hsm, edema or cyanosis or lymph node or clubbing. Mildly distressed and chest had gen crepts.
No ronchi or wheezes. Spo2 94 to 96 % in ra. Father is a worker and mother housewife. No rash and jaundice or petechae at present or past. The CBC and profile reports are attached.
