Amidst the pandemic of COVID-19, a number of countries have initiated Lockdown to help implement social distancing more strongly. This has shown great success in cutting down case numbers and preventing its violent spread. However, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends that Lockdown would be enough to attack this pandemic.

He recommends taking active measures for aggressively stopping the virus like increasing ways to find out the infected number of peoples, isolation and prompt treatment. As the world deals with this medical as well as social and economic crisis it is important that the government soon undertakes measures on improving the aid and help given to hospitals and such health care settings. Doctors are still working with shortage of masks, sanitizers and safety gears for themselves.
