In a judgement, the court has directed the state government to pay doctors of AYUSH working in National Rural Health Mission on par with their allopathic counterpart. It was pleaded that for same time and similar work Ayush Doctors were paid Rs.28000/- whereas Allopathic Doctors were paid Rs 48000/- per month. Before considering it right decision, one must seek the answers to questions? Is merit of entry in medical colleges in both system on par? What is cost of graduation on both systems on par?
Why are they after prescribing allopathic medicines in place of medicines of their system. I don't find it a relevant decision. What is your opinion? Kindly share.
