The practice has been almost impossibilities of medical college teachers. Doing private practice has always been a burning question in a medical college. We have non-clinical staff and clinical staff. Non-clinical staff means those teachers who teach basic sciences during MBBS that is anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, SPM and medical jurisprudence. They do not do private practice.

Now the main question is should clinical teachers of a medical college do practice? The answer is a big NO, but why because these clinicians in the medical college have to see patients. If they are in the surgical field, have to perform surgeries, take ward rounds and on top of it, they have to take theory classes of medical students and conducts clinical cases in wards.
