In the last few years, since my return from the UK, I have noticed and had the chance to compare and contrast the doctors' representative bodies (IMA and BMA -British Medical Association, UK) and regulatory bodies (MCI and GMC - General Medical Council, UK). Apart from the Indian, I had the chance to work in the European, Canadian, American and Australian medical systems. Clinical medicine is practiced in most of the countries, including India according to the standard world protocol.
The important issue I wanted to raise was the representative and the regulatory bodies in India.
